I asked some questions in my letter, I sent to him, and he answered them all ! I wanted to know what his favourite movie, he was in, is, and it's 'Baby Doll' (1956). I also wanted to know if there are actors that he considers to be a role model for his own work or somebody that was a mentor to him, but as he wrote 'Mentor ?' and mentions Marlon Brando there doesn't seem to be a real mentor to him. And I wanted to know what actors from nowadays he likes and admires, so that's why he mentions Johnny Depp, Sean Penn (wrong spelling, but hell, the man was already 93 when he wrote this !) and Kate Winslet. Wonderful response from a great actor !
I liked him most in 'Misfits' (1961), 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' (1966) and 'The Holiday' (2006)
he was married to actress Anne Jackson (* 03. September 1926) since 05. March 1948 until he died
has 2 daughters, Roberta (* 02. August 1955) and Katherine (* 13. July 1958) and a son, Peter (* 20. February 1951)
